Caleb Henderson & Carlie Klein Get Engaged

July 28, 2018 was a special day for Wurth Ministries' Caleb Henderson and Carlie Klein. It was a hot and humid day in the middle of summer, but it was a great day for an engagement. A few weeks prior to the engagement, Caleb and the other members of Wurth Ministries began to formulate ideas in order to keep the proposal a surprise.

Caleb knew exactly where he wanted to propose to Carlie. Just on the outskirts of West Columbia, South Carolina, there is a beautiful parcel of land owned and maintained by a local Christian ministry. The land featured wooded forests, natural ponds and a rustic cross making for a seemingly perfect place for an engagement. After secret conversations between Caleb and the other Wurth members, they figured they would trick Carlie into thinking that they were going to the property to more pictures as a group.

The weeks of building up the story soon turned into days and before they knew it, it was July 28. As Carlie and Caleb were making their way to the property, Caleb called Dina and Evan Lusk to see if they had already arrived. However, he knew that they hadn't because it was their plan to arrive "late" to the group pictures. Carlie and Caleb eventually made it to the property and began pacing around anticipating the arrival of the other team members (even though the rest of the Wurth team and family were in hiding). Then out of nowhere, Caleb lead Carlie to the cross, got down on one knee, and asked Carlie for her hand in marriage. She said YES!

Soon after, the families of Carlie and Caleb and the other Wurth members came out of hiding to greet the newly engaged couple. They all went up to a community building on the property and ate a meal together, celebrating the newly engaged couple.

Carlie and Caleb are getting married in the spring of 2019 and ask that you would keep them in their prayers as they take on this brand new adventure in their lives.
